Motorola RAZR V3

I have a Motorola RAZR V3 with an O2 simcard, and I'm going abroad to Italy in a few weeks, will I be able to use my phone there? If I can, will I need to do anything to ensure that it works? I can't seem to find anything about it in the instruction manual! Thanks in advance

as the phone is quad band, it works in all locations around the world, as long as you have reception, and as long as o2 allow you to "roam", my contract is as standard, and when i travel it roams automatically so i would imagine yours will to
