volkswagen golf s 1.2 tsi have green F 2 & F3 plus green flashing arrow pionting upwards on instrument cluster .can anyone say what this means

Don't know what you mean by F2 and F3 but I think the Green flashing arrow pointing upwards is probably something to do with cruise control. Check your owners hand book if you have one.

thanks tonyav the F2 in green with green arrow above it flashed fist then changed to F3 with arrow above it still flashing green, then back to F2 this was at the top of instrument cluster .opersit the time

Its not one of those damned annoying lights telling you to change gear is it? Got one on the Mondeo (green up arrow) to tell me to change up (like I need telling!). Just wondered if yours meant Forward 2nd and Forward 3rd or something equally inane!

thanks sddsddean i have rang ridgways dealers for vw ,who sold it me new 2 years ago .would you believe it service manager dont know. i think you could be riight as i had just changed down gear to 2 then back up to 3 .i dont think we need all these icons,its just another thing to worry about
