We get plenty of snow Steff, but none so far this winter luckily.
We went to the Fracture Clinic this morning; after x-rays we were informed that the break didn't appear to be healing properly and they would have to operate to replace the joint, but couldn't say when as hips have priority over arms within the NHS at the moment.

Oh that's not so good ....waiting for surgery can be a right pain, sorry about the awful pun !! We've got a long waiting list here too, but luckily neither Mr S or myself are on it right now which is a blessing !
And I'll bet it hurts more in the cold weather as well, so you'll not be wanting a long winter ... Just like us wanting March to be here and the end, hopefully, of the really hot weather....never satisfied, are we.
