Buying a Laptop on a budget, is cache important??

Hi,
im looking into buying a laptop, but only have a budget of 500 pound. Theres a 1gb Ram Compaq Laptop on the Pc World Website but it only has 128kb of cache. I would get:

COMPAQ V5030 AMD TURION64 MOBILE PROCESSOR ML-32 1.80GHz LAPTOP

Because its a 1.80ghz and rest are 1.4 or 1.6, this one has a widescreen, dvd -rewriter so you can write files or movies to dvd's. It has 512kb of cache and a 40 GB Harddrive. It also seems popular being a collect @ store item, due to none left for delivery. Its excellent

Its already way better than my �799 Toshiba Satellite laptop

but be warned, there customer services are pretty terrible as i own an acer laptop but aprt from that they are great
