The Daily Mail Is Not As Bad As Some Of You Would Like Us To Believe.

Much is said (mainly negative) on this site regarding The Daily Mail with accusations of telling lies, being racist, anti Islamic, and of possessing and publishing a particular right-wing agenda, if all these are so then why do they support and campaign certain issues such as the Stephen Lawrence case and now this?

Don't take it personally AOG, I have said before and said again, I don't hold any particular grudge against you, just some of the things you come out with. If you are going to shut me out of your debates, perhaps it's actually because I challenge your POV 'too much' (?)

Well, I think you've got that wrong but it's up to you if you want to hang on to that misunderstanding. Who isn't a hyprocrite from time to time, no one's perfect.

You forgot to say "end of".
I bait people with deliberately exaggerated labels not "personal comments" to see if there might be any truth in that label. It's not done out of malice and I think you're being hysterical.
Flounce away from this exchange if you like but I'm not leaving that slight against me unchallenged.

"...Better in what way Tambo? Can you not see its sh|t stirring nature and the way the headlines are geared towards provoking anger?..."
AP, the article certainly angered me. You baited me as a fascist but I pointed out my view on this man. Hardly fascist for objecting to our PM pleading for release of a foreign POW.

AP, you need to remember that it was only funny when Rik Mayall did it and that was only because 'wRick' (the Young Ones character) was an over-reacting wimp.
The word shouldn't be used lightly, imho, as that merely weakens the level of criticism intended.
I reserve it for the kind of people who would move the critical infant care unit from a town and force people to drive a 60-mile round trip, come visiting time. (in 2014)
Free at the point of use and the point of use is being summarily moved away from end users because accountants declare rural locations to be 'uneconomic'.
