Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

19A "Quietly endures first local's yarn". the resulting answer could be any length. It is one of ten clues which require the answer to be a substitution of one word for another.

An example could be "Lust for life". The answer to be entered would be "life" for the clue answer which would be "lust".

The a substitution is a word of 4 letters, because I have _ASP. I think the missing letter is G,H R or W. Any ideas.

Good luck with this one. I hate these with additional instructions.
I've looked in Crosswords section on here (just below Chatterbank) but can't see any. However there are some posts on this Crossword Solver forum which may be helpful

Chambers has Hasp meaning a skein of yarn (dialect)

Thanks djawhufc and others for a prompt reply I could say I was spoilt for choice. As if often the case with Inquisitor one doesn't always get all the manipulations, but I've now got enough for submission.
