What a shame, the poor mite! Thank God they are now with a loving family. I wonder if Noel Fitzpatrick has seen this dog's plight? He seems to be able to do just about anything to improve animals lives with his bionics. A wonderful human being in my books.

With my (very limited) knowledge Sir Alec I would guess that it would be a struggle, as the fitting of prostheses would require at least some sort of stump or portion of foreleg to be attached to, of which the dog appears sadly lacking.
That said, it seems to be coping and looks happy enough on that sofa!

Yes, ChillDoubt, it would be a very difficult and long process. He managed to attach a 'castor' to a cats stump after the foot was amputated following being hit by a car. It was incredible how quickly the cat adapted and could even jump onto the furniture in a matter of weeks. The bionics are all his own designs and he makes them himself too, to fit each individual animal. He lives in a room on surgery premises in case there is an emergency during the night.He suffers from chronic back pain but always puts his patients needs first. I was in tears, like him, when a labrador retriever was walking just one day after a life-threatening operation on his spine. The man is a saint!

I've read that when she's stopped growing she's going to have some of those wheels fitted that dogs with paralysed legs have, only they'll be for her front. She's a little beauty.
