My apologies.
My local (private) dentist referred me to his partner in Harley Street(!) and I got an estimate of £17000 (which I couldn't afford at the time). That was for five implants and some reconstructive stuff..
If you go for dental implants you can expect to pay approx. £2000 per tooth depending on which part of the country you are. It's not a cheap thing to do but if you can afford it, it looks VERY good.
dentures are the NHS option. Implants are expensive, as mentioned. They're cheaper abroad and said to be good; but you'd need to factor in the cost of two or three visits (at least) per implant session, with flights and hotels as needed.
