Thursday. Quite mild here today. No frost or wind. a balmy 4°C outside. Almost sunbathing weather! :o}

My collector man didn't arrive yesterday, I phoned up with the weapons loaded and fingers on triggers. Yer wee man was full of apologies when he told me that I had been misinformed, and the pickup will be today, not yesterday. So not his fault, so i didn't open fire. A day wasted though.

unbelievably my security light was going off and on and that's when I know someone is walking up the path , I got up opened window and there was the royal mail van with my parcel at 6 45 am . Hope you get yours as early Jan .

Mainly looking forward to the tennis this fortnight though. Will Andy Murray win? Probably not. But all the exciting sport is in Australia at the moment.

Today I have teaching but trying to decide whether or not to go into work early now that I am up. Teaching a more advanced course in the afternoon with the option to hop in to another course in the morning.

I used to get my post before 7am every day - 'improvements to our customer service' now mean it arrives at about 11:30 ... on a good day

Morning all - seems to be dry here and that has to be a good thing as everything around here is sopping, loads of potholes all full with water and all the rest, i.e. half the fields' soil seems to have left their home.
