There are creams available over the counter but the best thing I've found is prevention.. make sure winter shoes and boots are big enough to wear socks and put thermal insoles in the bottom. Same indoors, warm slippers, not flip flops and bare feet. Keep your circulation moving, try and exercise regularly and don't sit cross legged.

"Chilblains will often get better on their own without treatment after a week or two.
Several creams and lotions are available that claim to treat chilblains, but there is no clinical evidence that they work and they are not recommended.
If your chilblains are severe and they keep returning, your GP may recommend taking a daily tablet or capsule of a medication called nifedipine. This works by relaxing the blood vessels, improving your circulation.
Nifedipine can be used to help existing chilblains heal or can be taken during the winter to stop them developing."

So, if the over-the-counter stuff from a pharmacy is regarded as ineffective, it's unlikely that there are any home remedies which will help. (I had chilblains, for months on end, every tear as a kid. My parents never came across anything that made any real difference).
Therefore it looks like a trip to the doctor (for nifedipine) might be needed.
