Hi I've stripped my DC39 down to the motor ready to replace it, however I'm not sure how to disconnect the wires. This doesn't have the usual block push fitting. From what I can see the motor seems to have a connection that's crimped? Any help on how to disconnect please?

The picture of the connection block seems to show spade connectors, which are crimped onto the wires. If so, you merely pull the spade out of its receptacle with a pair of long-nosed pliers. Or try phoning that organisation for help.

Thank you! Will try that!
I hate Dysons. Cheap plastic, loads of trouble - forever pulling them apart when they misfunction.

I bought a Sebo some years ago, the best cleaner we ever had. We got the industrial model for about the same money as a Dyson. It has separate motors for suction and brushes - no belts, and a straight through path for the dust.
