Friday. Another weekend is beckoning. What to do depends on the weather somewhat does it not.

We had some quite heavy snow yesterday, but it didn't settle. Too warm would you believe! it's 5°C this morning. Soon be spring! :o}

Yep, just tossed some chicken schnitzels on the hot plate, I'll be keeping an eye on them.

Nice! :o} Not a great fan of chicken, but a nice steak touches the spot. I'm waiting for summer to get my barbie out of the shed again.

Love a tender medium rare steak myself.
Can be below freezing here during winter, bbq still gets a workout.

I used to at one time, but it's in the open so not much fun on my own. But it gets well used in the summer.

There is a large awning off the side off my shed, bbq, spit roaster, deep fryer, fridge, freezer, music maker, kitchen sink, tables chairs and an old lounge.
I'm amazed that I get inside sometimes.

Well I love it. Born in the UK, been here since '61.
Lived in Sydney till 2001 then moved to a tiny country town, pretty dry all year round, gets into the negatives during winter over night but warms up nicely during the day. Summer can hit 45 - 48 c and not cool down much during the night.

As said been out there 3 times & would live there, had chance years ago as a £10 pom but things did not work out at home, I had 2 Brothers out there Sydney / Caboulture QLD, one passed 7 years ago, they other 2 years ago whilst we were out, had a good crack with the Ozzies, one tried to wind me up on a Caravan park one night, we were having a beer & he said, "Don't move, tomy reply What, he said again, don't move there is a Brown by your foot, I said does it drink, he cracked up laughing.

I'd let the brown buy its own beer, but I'd shout one, or more, for a pom.
My parents were "10 quid tourists" , if there weren't I may still be in Bradford.
I've heard it's changed a lot since the 50's, 60's.
