Retrochic: The collars won't come out of the charity. The only thing that comes out of the charity is food and vets bills. It's something my mum wants to do.

She isn't doing it for the charity, she's doing it for herself. Obviously the dogs aren't going to appreciate them.

Dizmo if I had a dog charity that relied on people giving donations for food for the dogs, the last thing I'd do would be spend my money on fancy hand-made collars. I'd buy ones from a store like everyone does and put any spare money I had into the charity. I know she can do what she likes with her own money, but it seems strange to rely on the charitable donations of strangers to feed the dogs, yet 'waste' your own money on unnecessary items.
