I would definetely report this to the site and it looks like it must have been some sort of "inside" job! Horrible thing to have happened.
Tezmand that's horrible - I do surveys too and all the ones I use I need a password to access,so safer I guess.

See what the survey company says.
I fell for the survey scam 4 years ago from Nectar. Just as you approach the magic total of getting a reward you are told that your contribution is not required for this survey.
Depends on the company - TNS, Consumer Pulse and You Gov are reasonable payers - Valued opinions and a few others it takes ages to build a credit up.

Pinecone are nice too,£4 LV for anythingyou take part in so no waiting.

its valued opinions i do the surveys on, i had to sign in with email and password i have no idea how it got hacked they were very crafty as when you ask for vouchers i.e sainsburys they are posted out to your address but the hacker asked for amazon e voucher so it was emailed to him at the email address they changed it to , im sure it must have a code they could follow it up on amazon see what they ordered and where it was delivered to but wehter they do or not i dont know , they are gonna ask head office if i can get my points back so fingers crossed
I hope so, it sounds rather off doesn't it, good luck.
tezmand its actually theft so if Head Office do nothing it may well be useful to remind them of this and the fact you may call the Police and the adverse publicity this may cause them? It it were me I would follow it up on Amazon and see where the goods were mailed to before you involve Police.. It seems odd that your account could be hacked into so easily -are you sure someone who has access to your PC or works PC hasn't taken advantage?
I hope you get it sorted, it is awful for someone to do that.

no Retrochic only me that uses my laptop at home looking online its happened before but GOOD NEWS within 3 hrs of phoning them they have given me my points back and i have just cashed them out so look forward to getting them in the post , fair play to valued opinions for such a quick response thanks for your answers guys happy new year one and all xx
Just over a year ago I wentto check how many Tesco vouchers we had - only to find them gone!

Got them back from Tesco - and the told me they knew who had boosted them, and that my account had not been hacked.

you sure it was your email that was hacked? Did you lose anything else?

It might just be your Valued Opinions account that was hacked, which means the problem is at their end, not yours.
Would changing your password make a difference so it doesn't happen again?
tezmand -well done! Glad you got sorted.
Good response from them Tez - well done on a resolution.
Someone hacked my Tesco points account last year, and spent my vouchers in London! I live in North Wales! Tesco, in fairness to them, reimbursed me.
