Yeah...keep them. The cost would be part of the overall cost of the room.

They are there for you to use during your stay, and either take home or throw away as you wish or, as in the case of the present Mrs Hughes, to take home in their sealed bags so the kids can wear them when they come round.

Just a little story:

Biological mother lived in Australia and when I found her, booked a two bedroom suite in a 5* hotel in Singapore we we met for a holiday with Mrs sqad.

Biological mother had never stayed in a hotel before.

On the last day, I went into her room and she was packing, towels, robes, toiletries slippers and magazines into her case. I said

"Vera (biological mother) it is a bloody good job that the bed is screwed down otherwise that would have gone into your case.

She looked embarrassed.

I rang down to Hotel Services to offer to pay, but they thought it was funny and told me it was "on the house."

I'm sure there was a court case in America years ago where a person took the bed from a hotel after dismantling it. How desperate can you get?

I would say keep them, as I don't suppose they reuse them yuk!

You can get them in the Pound Shop. They cost even less to the hotels who buy them in bulk. They are only worth a few pence to the hotel.

They are single use. Even the fairly good quality airline slippers from First Class are disposed of at the end of the flight because throwing them away is cheaper than cleaning them and using them again.
