When I used to work at the social club, 3 people won substantial amounts of money. One of them was partially disabled and had been paid out a substantial sum of money - a month later he won the lottery. Then some time later another member of his family also won the lottery. This was about 9 years ago. Funny thing is, he didn't share any of his money with the rest of his immediate family.
Tilly: He bought me a drink but only because we got on with each other, well before he became a multimillionaire. A couple of jealous people said "I wouldn't of told anyone I had that much money because someone could take his wife and children and hold them at ransom".
Tilly: I don't know, I left that job and I've never been back in the place since. He propositioned me to work for him but our relationship wasn't that good. I didn't want to work for someone who had loads of money but could be really nasty with his family and other friends. I accepted the drink and then about 2 months later I left.
He probably wouldn't of paid the ransom to be honest. When you work behind a bar you have to be friends with everyone otherwise it makes the job so much harder. I do miss that line of work though.
Good luck, Psyb.....I did buy more last month....if I win I'm going to become a crazy recluse on your west coast.....not too far from a pub though.....♣
