I had an item for sale on ebay with a buy it now price. A person has purchased the item and after purchase sent me a message listing his stipulations which are unacceptable to me. No payment has been received.
I have replied I do not wish to deal with him but would like to re-list the item and recover any charges ebay has made.
Is there anybody out there who can tell me how to do this - I am not a whizz on computers?
Thank you
If this went to eBay you would win, the listing clearly stated '2nd class post'
so the buyer does not have a hope of winning the case. I had a similar situation but the buyer asked me to hold on posting until he got home so it was not a problem. Cancel the transaction as 'Retro' suggests but I think one option to cancel is 'unable to agree on terms' which i think fits the situation better.
It is basic contract law. You offered this item and clearly detailed your terms and conditions. By purchasing the item he has accepted your t&cs. He cannot after buying the item start addressing the t&cs.
