I'm questioning whether or not it's actually a Grandfather clock instead of a Grandmother clock. I'm 99% sure it's a Grandmother clock. Let me know what you think :)
This is open for others to comment and give any suggestions regarding why it keeps stopping at 3 o'clock. It's never been over wound - not to my knowledge anyway.

It takes 7-8 days but the clock just stops after 12 hours - or at least it did. It's been running since I started this post, I know we have a presence in this house - maybe he will allow it to run without stopping it :)
Either way, we'd like to know more about it and going on the information given already on the website, I'm pretty impressed! Dated around the 1700's :)

Dizmo, I just checked my post also. Wow, There's some good information there. Once I've had me tea and a fag and woken up, I'll thank the guys for their research. It's good that you found your way to the site so that I don't have to post all the information on here...Take care of that clock of yours and get it looked after by a professional.
