Skype Problems

When I Skype my daughter,every few minutes get a noise which sounds like a bus driving past...this is so annoying as we cannot hear each other.
I did the Echo/Sound Test and that is fine.Have the uptodate Skype.
Anyone else had this problem?

Neither of us use a headphone,prior to this "noise",it was fine.Have Skyped her this morning from my laptop and it was fine..I think it is her laptop but she is insistant it is not..one cannot argue with her as I do not have access to her machine to check it out.
