Help with two required please where I am fairly sure that I have the answer but cannot fully justify from wordplay.

1 across. CLUE: Lines by playwright with narrative development written about wild flower.

I have C_A_E_B_L_ which must be CRANESBILL.

LL=lines
IBSEN=playwright
but how is ARC=narrative development? I am not even sure that I know what narrative development is!

6 across. American's unsolicited opinion perhaps appropriate in Grand Theft Auto?

I have _W_C. I can only assume that it could be TWOC but how and why?

Many thanks in advance.

Many thanks. Character arc seems a bit obscure but it is certainly correct. Twoc is clever - I don't think I would ever have thought of two cents worth!
