well, it's filmed in a studio - not a real flat.

Outside scenes aren't filmed in a studio. So have they actually "fitted" a lift access, or are they just saying they have?

PD, you could ask the same thing about a staircase. Have you ever seen the stairs?

...which was why I wondered. The door and stairs ARE there on the street, but I've not seen (or can actually imagine) how even a dummy stair lift can be fitted.
