Vanguard 1, launched 1958, remains the oldest manmade satellite still in orbit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanguard_1 (53 mistaken for 58?)

could it be playboy mag as they keep advertising something about orbit and space stations for their 60th anniversary in 2013 - read this on the internet but not sure about it - what do folks think

have now found that the routemaster bus in london was 60 years old in 2013 - any one any better ideas!!
