Lovely Late Lunch

I'm enjoying a couple of Tesco's finest cheese scones, lightly spread with dairylea triangles and finished off with a generous helping of sliced frico edam cheese.

This accompanied with a mug of Kenco Millicano wholebean coffee, 2 teaspoons of demerara and double cream (run off the back of a cold spoon).

Luxury.

Sounds so much more appetising than my peanut butter sarnie. I must go shopping! Mr.AC has finally found where we keep the kettle, and kindly made me a cup of tea, but put sugar in it. I've never had sugar. I'm off to pour it down the sink when he's not looking and make myself a fresh one!

I bought some Darjeeling tea as well - I love Darjeeling, even more so than Earl Grey.

I had a cheese & onion sarnie, sadly without any crisps stuffed in it.

I've just taken delivery of my meat and veg and having had a supper plan up my sleeve I am reconsidering as I have two gorgeous looking rump steaks that will go very nicely with some sauté potatoes and a rocket salad :-)

Have you tried toasting the scones lightly before spreading with cheese ..?

Dizmo try jam with the cheese, sounds awful but gives a sweet & sour taste.
