I am turning into a x word geek. Sat mornings will do crosswords before reading paper . My sister (who lives next door ... yes we are v v close) and my d in law ( who is easily led) got hold of my Sat daily mail and filled in all of my crosswords ... including the scrap weekend insert , with totally ridiculous answers .... and a long boring and silly story ..... thought I would have a heart attack!!!!!! But they did have another paper for me ..... absolutely hilarious.... got my own back with my sister on Sunday ... she likes a virgin paper.... a few creases will send her into patients ... yeah course I did ... aren't family wonderful

Yes Kuul, they can be very addictive. It took me ages to get into cryptic crosswords. I just couldn't get the hang of them at all. Then, one day, it all clicked and now I love the cryptic ones.
Enjoy your crosswords... despite the perils of family life. xx

Me too Kuulteach especially the DM never read the paper just do all the crosswords! I noticed that you tried the Blankout in the weekend mag, that is my favourite, in fact I like any skeleton crosswords. You'll have to try the barebones one in the Mail on Sunday. Should get the brain cells going!
