Well yes, what other options are there to take?

I had a stinker of one over Christmas and New Year. I found the best solution was to drink lots of booze. It didn't shift the cold, but I found I didn't care so much ;-)

have a wash, clean your teeth, get into nice fresh pj's. lie on the couch. watch rubbish AM. tv. drink plenty . take paracetamol/bruffen.
You can rest assured (no pun intended) that if you take all the cough syrups, pain killers, decongestants and nasal sprays you can find, you'll be over you cold in 14 days tops. Per contr if you do nothing your cold will end in 2 weeks...
i tried the new sudafed spray thing, worked a treat, however cider kills all living things..... just saying

The best things you can do to speed the virus on its way is to rest and drink plenty of watery fluid by which I mean not plenty of alcohol!
