Making A Will
I desperately need to make a will as I am approaching my seventies. The problem is finding 2 executors. The sole beneficiary will be my daughter and she can be one executor and I know I shouldn't look at it like this but the only other family member is my older sister who is in Australia. My daughter's husband is much older than her and they don't have children.
My partner who will not benefit from the will is older than me and doesn't wish to do it.
I have been advised not to use a solicitor as an executor and was wondering if I use a will writing firm (like the co-op) is it advisable to use them as executor.
I know none of us know when we are going to die but I look at people older than me or about the same age and think it would be unwise to select them and later have to change my will if they go.

You can simply appoint your daughter as sole executor if you so wish. Alternatively you can appoint your daughter and her husband. (If her husband should pre-decease you, your daughter would still be able to act as sole executor; you wouldn't need to change your will).
You only need one executor. In fact if you have joint executors it can be a bit of a pain because every time something needs to be signed, it has to be signed by both of them which can be time consuming when they don`t live near to each other. Personally, I would use one family member or a solicitor to be the executor (I wouldn`t use a will writing company)
