I don't know you ( we may have crossed posts somewhere, as I recognise the names), but, having read a couple of recent posts, I'd just like to wish you both well. I think it's great that a site such as this has a kind of "family" feel to it. Excel, I know what redundancy is like, I've faced it three times. I'm lucky???? though, that I have a HGV Licence, so shouldn't be out of work for long. Anyway, not a question, but best wishes x
My advice to anyone who has lost their job is to do temping work to fill the gap, whatever type you can get. It keeps you occupied, brings in some money, and there is always the chance you will be offered a permanent job. Keeps your mind occupied as well which s just as important.
