I have dropped candlewax on my Bath Stone fireplace -any tips for removing it?

Also, how can I best clean Bath Stone - it looks a bit grubby now with coal and soot marks. How can I get it looking like new?

I put your question about candlewax on google and have found Lithofin Wax off.Look it up yourself to see if it is worth sending for.
You can just put a washcloth over it and then iron it. The heat from the iron will melt it and it will stick to the washcloth.
Just scrape the candlewax off when it is hard.
