Roll on independence for Scotland and England. That way can each be governed by our own chosen numpties, using our own resources. The current setup where there's a priveleged set of 5 million people out 60 million (set to become even more priveleged after May), based on geographical location can't be right.

Yet another Daily Mail rant against Scotland, written this time by no other than Sir Max Hastings, former editor of the Telegraph.Educated at Charterhouse Public School then Oxford, leaving without a degree,so not surprising that he fits in well with the "rich boys"clique at Westminster.
He has long been a vociferous opponent of all things Scottish and a leading "Little Englander".

steg - do you have a piece of the turf or the goal post? It just shows you that you don't have to win at football to have a good time.
My voluntary job beckons - and I am gathering up some enthusiasm, not doing too well though. It's all go for us up in Scotland who have no paid employment. :-) Busy busy

Yes it would seem that they have certainly got a chip on their shoulders, some bigger than others.

Not 'terrify', no. However, the prospect of minority parties having 'casting vote' power over individual bills in parliament is irksome, in the extreme, because we, as voters, will have to brush up on the nitty-gritty detail of the manifestos of all the minority parties when we barely bother to pay attention to what the major parties steer our attention away from during the hustings, as it is.
How many Labour voters didn't notice the PFI initiative?
How many Conservative voters believed Cameron's smiley NHS promise poster?
btw, I take it everyone found last night's #BBCQT a bit of a corker?
