82 for me. Only another 15 years. So much to do, so little time.
I got 83 so another 50 years or so of debauchery ....or not lol!
Question Author
If you want to reach that 83 you'll need to live an abstemious life. A vegetarian diet, no alcohol, and definitely no smoking. In bed by 10.30 at the latest(and alone)
My mother is 83 and has spent her life eating fatty foods, drinking copious amounts of wine and taking drugs in the 60's. The only exercise she's ever done is to get into and out of a car -and I did tell a little fib I'm actually the wrong side of 50 lol!
Question Author
Take care of yourself and you could still have another 50 years. ☺
I died six years ago!
Blackadder lol!
My gramps was the most inactive man I knew, he used to smoke 80 fags a day (gave up when I was in my teens) drink everyday, eat mainly junk food....and died when he was 87.
82. Mine got the right age at 41, but I don't know my cholesterol level, so it's used the average.
Of all the many people I've known who have lived until over 100, many of them (most even) smoked and drank. The only common factor I can see, apart from genetics, is that they were all very thin.
so I can work out,eat a low fat high fibre diet and abstain from alcohol -and expect my heart to be the same age and expect to live as long as a beer swilling, fag smoking couch potato

I don't think that's what it's measuring. It's telling you your life expectancy right now on the basis of the way you've lived so far, as measured by things like cholesterol. If you're 50 and have lived an exemplary lifestyle your heart age - now - should be lower than if you're 50 and have pigged out for years. The way you live in future will affect things further.
That's buddy scarey - I got exact same age as my late mother at death. No high blood pressure or diabetes.
