Personalised Mugs

I am looking to purchase 50 white mugs with a custom made logo ..... everything I am seeing is incredibly expensive .... so I thought I would ask on here. Also, what about the possibility of ordering some kind of ceramic transfers and getting 50 mugs from Ikea and doing it myself ..... economy is key but they need to be serviceable afterwards! ! Any ideas?

A googling hint for you: Don't search for 'personalised mugs' (because you'll probably only find services geared to producing one-off items, at high prices). Instead search for 'corporate gifts' or 'business gifts' (possibly adding 'mugs' to your search term). Also try 'promotional gifts' and/or 'promotional mugs'.

Then you'll find firms like 'World of Mugs':

(Their pricing structure suggests that they might have a minimum order of 72 but it could be worth asking about what they'd charge for just 50).

Impact definitely has a minimum order of 72 mugs but, as their prices are so low, it might be cheaper to buy 72 from them than buying 50 from elsewhere:

There are plenty of suppliers of promotional mugs in the UK - checkout www.gopromotional.co.uk who offer a massive choice. Applying your own transfers to mugs will not work because when mugs are printed the transfer is applied prior to the final firing process and such when fired the image/logo is permanently impregnated into the surface of the mug. This means it will not come of during the washing cycle. If you apply a transfer to a pre-glazed mug the image will simply come off when washed - hope this helps.
