Hi there probably really stupid of me I didn't feel like eating this morning so I went into town and I fancied a coffee at Cafe Nero so I had a medium latte now I've got the most awful indigestion burping is painful gaviscon not really helping but can coffee on an empty stomach give you heartburn.

Coffee can stimulate gastric acid.
On an empty stomach it will almost certainly cause indigestion if you are sensitive to it.
For me, its beer......
