This Selfi Craze?

Whats the obsession with these selfi pics where the people taking them pull silly faces and often drape themselves over each others shoulders...?

I was in a ladies clothes department store yesterday and witnessed 2 young girls setting themselves up to take one of these pictures...no doubt it was in Facebook withing seconds.

Just having a little moan....

Just think....never having to ask a stranger to take your photo with the risk of them legging it with your camera.

I saw a girl (teenager) a few weeks ago. She was walking along, not looking where she was going, and taking non stop selfies. She tripped over a broken paving slab and clattered down onto the ground and skinned her knees in the process. Didn't look quite so glam after that. She hobbled away, weeping... no selfies taken from that point onwards.

In my day youths, particularly girls, took loads of photos, with friends, in the photo booths. This is just a cheap way for the present youth generation to do similar.

Oh yes OG, we were always in those photo booths. All the pics in B & W then. Still got some of them. OMG, was I ever that skinny?
