Reunion

Is it sad to organise a reunion for all the kids who used to live down my road? I am 21 and when I was younger me and all the other kids used to play outside. We were all mates for about 10yrs and it was mostly the same kids who lived down the street. Some came and went but about 10 of us were always here. Over the years we have all grown up and moved on. Only me and my brother and sister and 2 others from across the road still live in the street. We all went through alot together and me and my brother and sister want to organise a reunion but when I was chatting to someone the other day they told me it seemed abit of a sad thing to do coz they were only kids from my street. Not people I went to school with! What do you think?

Lol. If you are talking about what I think you are talking about.. he didn't live down my road. I just knew him. He used to hang about in the local town alot. But no.. he won't be invited.. Lol.

Nah I can't be @rsed with a school reunion. I had tons of mates at school but never kept in touch with many of them. Shame but really can't be doing with it. I would love to meet up with the kids I shared the street with. Well.. I say kids.. they are all my age.. :o)

There was about 10-15 of us.. guys and girls.. I reckon it would be a laugh.

I think its a great idea...you could all meet up and play Knock Down Ginger,Mob Mob In,Runouts,Bulldog and then all wait for the Icecream man to come round at 5 o`clock....then hang on the back of his van when he drives off

The kids I was friends with were my friends for a good 10yrs and we used to play outside everyday and have major sleep overs and have parties. We grew up together. From the age of 5 to about 15... thats a long old time. :o)

We used to play 40/40, bulldog, bulldog on skates, foxes and hounds, IT, sticky bud, rounders, football, one touch, knock down ginger, etc... We used to go on bike rides and stuff. Awww I am getting all emotional now. :o)

We used to buy tons and tons of those little bubble gums off the ice cream man.

Pfft...We used to buy them oyster thingys cos we were posh...when I say posh I mean rich.....when I say rich I mean we used to borrow the money from my mums purse...when I say borrow...you know what I mean..and when we used to go in we`d get a slap for stealing...when I say we.... I mean me....I always got the blame

I used to do the same. I didn't like those oyster things though and didn't like the ice cream.. I used to get calipos :o) Lol

I was the only kid getting into trouble in our road.. hard as it may be to believe but I was the gobby one ;o)

start a new website and call it "street-meet.com" it could catch on, think of all the street parties that could happen
