I've laughed out loud this morning! I've opened a card from my son ... On the front, it has him sat in a restaurant with a very large Mexican hat on .. holding a finger across the top of his lip for a moustache ... grinning. Inside it says the following .. To mum, hope you have a great day! Spoil yourself, get your Pat Butcher coat on & go somewhere fancy! I miss you lots mamma. :0)

My mum is long gone. I am not "mum" material. My wee brother has threedelightful little ones.

EVERY day is Mother's Day. I never needed a specially designated Hallmark day to think of my lovely Mum, send her cards, flowers, take her out, spend time with her, spoil her. I did that EVERY day and would do it all again.
