I'm looking for a popular dance track released by a guy called something like Mario Picato ( not sure on spelling) in 2001 (probs summer). I've tried google but to no avail. Any help much appreciated as to what the song is.

could the track be by mauro picotto? I know there is a dance artist by that name but not really into dance so wouldnt know the name of the track - but this is almost definitely the correct spelling of his name so you can go goodle searching again. hope that helps.

I think the guy you want is actually Mario Piu
(Did Communication - Somebody Answer the Phone! in 1999 - really annoying track you must remember it! - Generally fairly repetitive techno style... Is that your man?
Also co-credited with mauro picotto on some things, as the previous poster says (could be the same guy for all I know!)

Mauro Picotto released a single called Komodo in December 2000.

If its Mario Piu then its the Classic dance tune Mar 2001 "The Vision" with DJ Arabesque March 01

If its Mauro Picotto then it could be "Komodo" (Jan 01). "Like this like that" (August 01). or even "Verdi" (also Aug 01)
