Does anyone know why Fastext on all Channels is abysmally slow.?

This would be down to the TV, not the text service. Fastext operates on the basis that you have your main page, and your TV will automatically "store" the pages you are most likely to go to, namelely the next page and the red,blue, green and yellow pages. It can only store so much at a time, so if you deviate from what it chooses, or go too fast, it gets slow.
