In an abandoned match, do red and yellow cards issued prior to the abandonment still stand ?

Mr Tilly reckons they do still stand.
Logically they should. The fact that the match was abandoned doesn't make right whatever foul was committed.
I believe any single Yellow cards are wiped out but if you get two the Red still stands.

According to the FIFA Disciplinary Code 2011;

Section 17 - Caution. Paragraph 4.

"If an abandoned match is to be replayed, any caution issued during that
match shall be annulled. If the match is not to be replayed, the cautions
received by the team responsible for causing the match to be abandoned are
upheld; if both teams are responsible, all of the cautions are upheld."

I'm guessing that the last part relates to a team getting a number of players deliberately getting sent off, to get the game abandoned - I think it's 5 players getting sent off.
