All three white glad. Wedding ring first then engagement ring and then eternity ring. I was always lead to believe the eternity ring was also known as the keeper. I assumed this was to keep the other rings in place!
Grandmother's engagement ring on my left hand, Mother's engagement ring on my right.
My engagement ring in my jewel pouch, lost my wedding ring teaching my daughter to swim in the sea.
wedding ring, then eternity ring, then engagement ring
I was without a wedding ring for a few years as I lost it whilst gardening. I was too upset about it to want another one.
I finally got another one in December 2013 when we renewed our vows
As far as I know, it should be wedding ring first and should never be taken off, then eternity ring, then engagement ring as those two can be removed if required.
I’ve never taken my wedding ring off, so it’s wedding ring, eternity ring, and then a choice of one of three diamond ‘engagement’ rings – the original was stolen when my house was burgled.
I have a wedding ring and an eternity ring and I don't wear either of them. I had an engagement ring but lost it. I haven't worn my rings for so long that I can't get them on now. I keep saying I am going to get them made a bit bigger but somehow never get around to it!
Wedding ring, then eternity ring, then engagement ring all platinum. The wedding and engagement rings were my Mother's which I had made bigger to fit me - I never had an engagement ring and my wedding ring got a bit tight - and I like the fact that I wear hers. The eternity ring was bought in lieu of an engagement ring and matches the other two.
Just as an aside:
I had a very brief first marriage and he proposed with a beautiful ring with a central sapphire with a large diamond at either side of it.
After the marriage ended I decided to sell the engagement ring. Imagine my shock when I found out it was a fake and worth about £20.
I wouldn't mind, but he was worth a fortune. Cheapskate!
