I've had a really productive day. How was your day, was it productive?

Number of things on the 'to do' list I wrote out last night = 10. Number of things from that list still not done = 10. Not exactly my most productive day then ;-)

Not productive, very tiring. Come down to Eastbourne for a couple of days. It took 4.5 hours. Sat nav took us through what felt like every town and village on the way. Traffic was horrendous the further south we went. So we have only had a meal and a quick walk to the pier and back. Stayed in hotel room reading papers and doing puzzles since.
Don't sit indoors tomorrow night, Caran. There are still tickets left:

If you've not been to the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, Caran, I strongly urge you to pay a visit:

While everyone seems to know about The Lanes in Brighton (which are full of over-priced designer shops but some quite nice, reasonably-priced bistros too), many people still miss the wonderful North Laine area (which, in my opinion, offers far more to visitors seeking out unusual shops:

Central Hastings is a bit of a dump but the Old Town still has quite a lot to offer. (Walking along the seafront, with the sea on your right, keep going until the road heads inland a bit. Follow it to find interesting shops, bars and bistros).

I live in Brighton-sur-merde and IF you choose to come here then do so before the grockle season really hits.
The Pavilion is interesting and a good example of avoiding opium etc when designing a house.
The Lanes are over hyped tat. Hate the area. The North Laine, as BC says, is far more interesting and not so "touristy".
Hastings old town is ok but as a town itself... to be avoided if possible.
