... being on AB at this time of the day?

It's about 2:15pm here.
The domestic stuff is done.
I don't feel like mucking around with wood or metal.
My pastime is restoring old bits of furniture.
The family is out, my time is mine, but I'm feeling lazy.

That's my excuse.

..but Mrs Oz likes the "soaps", hence I stay away.

oz Vera disliked the soaps as much as I do. We used to love watching the rugby. Being a good wife she would support Ireland with me, unless they were playing Wales. Being part Welsh she would support them, just for the hell of it, but only when they were playing Ireland! It used to get funny. :o}

BTW, 1ozzy, are there actually any rules in Australian Rules Football? The only one I could work out, through watching it, was "Thou shalt not kill (well, not too often, anyway, Cobber)"

Not a fan of "Aussie rules" myself Chris. Over here it is played under the banner of "AFL". In this house we refer to it as "Gay FL" or Aerial Ping Pong.
The Victorians love it....
