For the last few days every time I start Mozilla Firefox I keep getting http:///?type=hppp on my homepage and problem loading page, the address is invalid.
How do I get Mozilla Firefox back as my home page.
Just can't get rid off http:///?type=hppp no matter what I have tried.
Thanks in advance.

Basic instructions for changing your home page (and start page, which aren't necessarily the same thing):
With just a single tab open, navigate to the page you want to use.
Go to Tools > Options and (if necessary) select the 'General' tab.
Under 'Home page' select 'Use current pages'.
Next to 'When Firefox starts' choose 'Show my home page'.
Click 'OK'

If that doesn't work you've got malware (in the form of a browser hijacker) on your computer. Download, install and run the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, which will hopefully get rid of it:
https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/
(NB: When installing it, take care to deselect the pre-ticked option to take a free trial of the Premium version. If malware is detected ensure that you quarantine everything found).

After running Malwarebytes, use the instructions in my first paragraph again.

Tried what you Buenchico suggested but it has made no difference still getting http:///?type=hppp as my homepage.
Well it seems that it's definitely a browser hijack:

Go to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions and note down the names of any extensions that you're using and that you want to keep (because you're about to remove them!).

Then go to Help > Troubleshooting Information.

Click the 'Refresh Firefox' button.

Use the instructions from my original first paragraph again.

Cross your fingers and restart Firefox.

If all's OK, reinstall any extensions that you want back.

Also run a full scan with your anti-virus program.
1.Reset browser settings

2.Disable/Remove Chrome extensions

3.Download remove tool
http://www.gblade.com/download.php

and run it from cmdline in Windows Safe Mode.
