Freak Weather

I left home this afternoon to walk my dog on the TPT in brilliant sunshine. Twenty minutes later I was assailed by the most horrendous hailstorm I have ever seen, accompanied by a howling wind and a tremendous thunderclap with no lightning or preliminary rumbling. Within minutes there were HAILDRIFTS along the walls and hedges. But by the time I reached home the sky was blue and the sun was shining. A few minutes later there was a repeat performance; unbelievable! How has it been for you today?

same here...near Edinburgh..had rain, sleet, hail and brilliant sunshine ..snow at the moment !

Similar rabet (Manchester) Severe winds/ hail. Several mangled umbrellas in street bins, including mine.

Wonderful here in the far west of Cornwall today ! Very windy but very, very sunny ! We had a walk over the Towans at Hayle, at it was wonderful !

I think East Lothian has had all 4 seasons in one day, Sun, Wind, Hail, Sleet, Snow etc

Started very windy (the day, not me), then got sunny and windy, then rained while still sunny and windy, rain stopped, sun did the usual, wind has died down, (N/Kent)

Mikey, TPT is the Trans-Pennine Trail, It runs past my house.

And now, would you believe, it's dark!! So unpredictable!
