The Mirror carries a couple of April Fools day stories. The first concerns a secretive new agency has been set up to decide who governs us while political parties vie for power after a hung parliament result. This new body, Office for Estimation (Ofest) would garner the true feelings of the nation using people's opinions on tweets, Facebook posts and comments on online news stories. Fearing that the UK will drift for weeks without a government, Ofset will then put in place an Estimated Prime Minister and Parliament until such time there is a clear winner.
The second story is on the sports pages and concerns the proposal of designated 'selfie hotspots' by the corner flags to be trialed in the Capital One Cup. Members of the scoring team will be allowed time to take these selfies after a goal but opponents will be booked should they 'photobomb' these selfies. After secret trials at MK Dons, two of their players have given it the thumbs up. The players are Gorgio Rasulo and Forop Alii.
