any tips on how to get through a really boring event? i've got to help out at this thing again today that i did yesterday and it was really boring :(

Paint a pair of eyes on your closed eye lids and even tho you will be asleep it will look like you are awake!!! :o)

just think you might be doing something great by helping some unfortunate people. it's a wonderful feeling of accomplishment and great satisfaction to help those less fortunate. focus on how happy you are making others. i don't know what the event is about, but i imagine you are helping because you are needed.

Hi Pink, if there is a big fat bloke or lady there just imagine them in just a big pair of Y fronts or Bloomers,it will pass a bit of time,or imaigne the two biggest ones there at it like rabbits,should amuse you a little,as long as your sense of humour is as daft as mine!!!

I'm guessing you're at something like a trade fair? If so, have a competition with your colleagues as follows. Pick a really irrelevant word that you all agree on and you all have to try to get it in to the next conversation you each have with a total stranger.

Oh well depending where I am and what the event is (ie. usually for me it's a boring work related event), I count (sad I know). I count ceiling tiles, or I count people that are at the event or I count how many tables there are or I count how many people look as bored as me, or I count chairs, well you get the gist, I count as much stuff as I can think of. Keeps me occupied anyways lol
