As regards the actual programme..yes it was alarming to see some of the things that were said and what went on,but sadly not all that surprising.Just goes to prove that the police must be that devoid of suitable applicants nowadays that they must be taking on and training people who they can probably see ar not suitable..just a sad situation
It was interesting. Alot of things they showed like pictures of women up on the wall can be excused and probably happen in most work places. I tended to agree with the copper who said that women shouldn't be dealing with p*ssheads all night long and being abused etc. I am not saying that they should be allowed to and I am well aware they have the right to - I don't want to start an argument! - I just don't like the thought of it, and if it was my girlfriend doing it I would be worried.
The most startling thing was how they dealt with the womens rape case, and of course, how they drove past someone without even helping, not to mention when they got a call and didn't bother to attend. Total neglect of duty.
Also the amount of paperwork they have to deal with needs addressing by the sounds of it. They should be out on the streets not filling in forms.
