New Iphone 6 Synced Wrong Stuff - Help!!

I've got an iPhone 6. Boyfriend had an iPhone 5 until today when he upgraded. I did the usual - backed up his phone before doing anything and then went to sync everything to his new phone - but it synced all my photos, contacts etc - everything!!

What do I do? I'm in the process of restoring the phone back to how it was in the hope I can start again.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please in stupid person language?!!

You must have restored his iPhone with YOUR iCloud name and password, not his.

I just plugged it in as usual. It would normally recognise that as his phone and sync all his stuff. Don't know if it's anything to do with them both being the same model?

Do you have separate iCloud accounts? If so, his and hers will not be the same.

Restoring the phone go to Settings then General then scroll down to Reset then Erase all Contents a Settings then use HIS iCloud name and password...and choose one of his backup dates.

Do you share the same iTunes account?

You should restore through iTunes.

Then, Sync manually in iTunes and only sync his stuff.
