I love H and S presentations, really boring but when they get to the bit at the end asking 'any questions?' its great. You can keep em there the whole afternoon asking daft stuff, then ya just come outta the meeting and clock off and go home lo,

i'm giving the presentation! its not so bad until you get to the video's and then everyone including myself falls asleep! still as you say i'm gonna string it out as long as i can, then clear off

I have a meeting at 2.30 called cake and learn - it's basically a communication thing where we can all discover what is happening within a specific department at the moment (exciting hey!). the only good thing is that we get cake and tea before it starts. It's obviously bribery but it's worth it if the cakes nice!!!

When I started the job I had now I had to attend a H and S induction. All went well until the woman giving the induction picked up a big fire extinguisher from the side of her chair, she put it on the table and explained all about it then as she was putting it back on the floor she dropped it right on my foot :(
