Shouldn't, but they could contain traces of natural yeast that were present prior to processing.
Aristotle13, can I ask if you have an intolerance to yeast? - as I thought I did. I can handle it in small quantities but my love of marmite has had to be restrained.

Cymbelline - Yes, a gluten and yeast intolerance. I have been told that Malt & Malt Extract contain yeast and yet as far as I am aware, malt is only sprouting barley and would only have minimal quantities of natural yeast which is everywhere.
Beer is a killer - sadly
