Ah Sherr what a shame your other half didn't know/remember. Really sad for you. I would have said "I had loads of messages from Answerbank friends today" When he asked why say "Because they remembered my birthday" That will surely make him feel embarrassed!!! :)

I told him at tea time - he did look mortified (he has a track record of forgetting dates, etc). Apparently, we are doing my birthday tomorrow although it's not really the same (I don't want a present, I wanted to be acknowledged if you se what I mean).

Boy #1 now feels bad for not remembering (trying to justify himself forgetting by saying about his head going bang). I feel like a cow for saying anything. Pretty sure himself will re-forget tomorrow though!

Just wondered sherr, c'us my memory ( short term ) has been pretty bad since I had mine.

But if he has history of being crap regarding remembering your birthday !.
I'm sure that he'll make it up to you tomorrow.
